A subscriber source is a container for subscriber-related data. A source can have many fields (SubscriberSourceField) each of which is a subscriber attribute.
A subscriber source must have the same channel attribute as the campaign it is to be used for. For example, it must have the emailField attribute set if it is to be used for an EMAIL campaign.
Contactsend can automatically generate incremental unique identifiers (subscriberIdentifierFieldName) for your subscribers, if you do not provide them. However, it is generally preferable for you to assign the unique identifiers, as this makes it much easier for you to reconcile feedback data. See SubscriberSource for more details.
A subscriber source filter is applied to a subscriber source to determine the target recipients for a campaign.
